Ha ha ha!! I’ve been announcing my retirement since about five …
… years ago.
Circumstances in our Country make it difficult to take the plunge and say goodbye to our family Company under this panorama.
But I started to stay much less time at my office since some months ago and will try even less time next year. That’s at least my plan.
Let’s see what 2026 brings to our much complicated Country!!

- My personal favs are already the very first shot with the GMT Pepsi behind the Porsche wheel, but also
the ensuant following with the various GMTs, such as the 126710 BLNR, a Ref.we share.
Very spectacular despite its somewhat low key appearance is your new Panerai, Marina Militare PAM05218,
your most recent inclusion into your stables. - Sincere Congrats to this marvellous watch ‼️
- I simply love its appearance and layout and I have even inquired about waiting list(s),
which currently amounts to roughly 9-12 months., as far as the European Client relation central office (?)
estimates.
- But the catch currently is that the European Central Organization does neither know the
length nor the number of queued up submitters.. 😏
Even without knowing your ordering position in the line, obviously a very long time ago, it would love to make a new
and desirable acquisition.
- Alas, we will see how the market and Panerai production develops.. 😉
Enough about me and possible future interests, just as a last item here about your submission:

I am happy to know you liked the GMT related shots. Of course one of the several watches we share.
Regarding the new 5218: Love to know you are interested in it so it will be another watch shared. But regret to read about the delay in complimenting the orders.
I entered my order before the official announcing of this watch as I learned it rather early this year through the internet portals. Not remember exactly but probably around May. It has passed a lot of time
They estimated the watch would arrive in September but finally arrived in second half of November that is about six months
I was told that Panerai is making 500 of these watches per year and they are distributed among all Boutiques around the World so they expect a long waiting to fulfill them all.
I cross my fingers for you my friend expecting you´ll receive your 5218 in the first months of 2026! Of course having a contact in a Panerai Boutique would help.
