That's fair, I myself was on the fence about it, it felt a bit too trendy for a Villeret piece.
But as a one off, I think it is ok to do something different.

The LE 38 was tempting, I recall the seconds being too high up so I passed. The Pythagore in like nice, the movement didn’t excite me. Us watch guys are picky 😂

The LE 38’s vintage Minerva caliber is gorgeous, except a bit small, resulting in high up position of small second towards the centre.

Being a huge fanboy of Montblanc
I especially like their watches, they are quite nice. I wish they would come back with their
version of the ultra thin. The one you have is very nice and quite interesting.
