Now as for the 288 pieces per movement, I was not aware of that, but to give you my opinion, there are two things to avoid:
- This kind of limitation. Would we have the 1858 Tachymeter, if they respected it? Would we have other treasures to be released?
- At the opposite of the " spectrum ", Montblanc should avoid to have limited editions of the limited editions. The 1858 Tachymeter Bronze raises that question:
Is it good for the image of the brand to have another LE of the 1858 Tachymeter? How collectors and owners of the steel and rose gold versions do feel after seeing the Bronze unveiled?
Personally, I don't care, as I am very happy with my steel / blue, and I bought it for what it is, a superb watch and a true killer. But still...
