Best meal of the day..
Is when you get to share it with a fellow Purist who has a love for the brand we all come here to share in..
Just finished a short breakfast with a chance acquaintance to talk watches who was in my neck of the woods on business from Boston. It was all thanks to CR that this came about, and for that I feel very lucky. Hope to get to meet you as well one day Craig.
This gentleman brought along with him a piece I am still reveling in, my first experience with an enamel dialed Lange! My knees are still shaking!
Looks pretty good on my wrist wouldn't you say? If only he weren't so in love with it himself 
Apologies for the poor photos, the lighting in the restaurant made it difficult to manage anything beyond this; but anyone who has had the pleasure of handling the Langetmatik Anniversary or the RL PLM knows the beauty of the enamel Langes.
Beside my RG Richard Lange, both perfectly apportioned in their own right.. however the Anniversary has the edge in my opinion with the slim profile.
Both with roman numerals, elegant and timeless.. perfection 
I will readily admit I am a hand-wound guy; always have been. I will confess however, the 3/4 rotor is stunning in this watch! Limited edition and so very sought after.
The conversation flowed so well, I forgot to snap any pictures of the food itself; however I can assure you the watches provided more than enough of a meal for us both.
With everything happening at Basel, I thought the timing couldn't be better to post something Lange related!
It is meetings like this that make me feel lucky to be part of such a good community in Lange connoisseurs

The Langematik Anniversary is, in my opinion, one of the 4 or 5 strongest watch
Lange ever made.
Full of charm, top beauty, with this touch of romantism... A GRET Lange.

I imagine the digestion was perfect!
Frankly, I'm an automatic guy as I don't like winding my watches every morning. Furthermre it keeps the torque at an efficient level and I like this point.
But, although I like what this Anniversary represents (nice micro rotor movement, enamel dial, good size), I prefer your RL. I'm in love with this dial (even if the watch is maybe 0.5 or 1 mm too large to be perfect).
However, these are 2 very important ALS in the collection to me.

Terrific images captured in real time in a very challenging location. Your RG RL is a terrific piece, and I'm glad that I brought the Anniversary along to our get together and that it has captured your attention as much as it did mine when I first got to handle it in person. Good luck with your Lange journey as it continues to evolve. So many pieces to enjoy as time marches on!
