Finally it is with me, one of the most beautiful Chronos: 1815 Chronograph.

Originally I was fascinated by the Datograph. I saw wonderful pictures from Edwin in the other Lange Forum and was deeply impressed. I was sure, someday I should own a Dato…
Last year I had the opportunity to see the Datograph side by side with an 1815 Chronograph. The Dato was so top havy and not comfortable to wear on my small wrist. But than I tried the 1815 Chrono: so nice, the incredible depth of the dial, the blued hands, the same beautiful movement (but of course without the date function), and so comfortable to wear…
A few weeks ago Oliver came up with wunderful photos from his 1815 Chrono after Lange service. It was my starting point for a new search. Now I am very happy with my 1815 Chrono and have to say Dankeschön again to Oliver for his advice and the Lange Team in Glashütte for their help.
The mandatoy wrist shot:

My experience with the Dato vrs the Chrono were quite similar to yours, and the end result was the same, My 1815 Chrono has become, essentially, my go to Lange for regular wear. Wear it in the best of health.
Do enjoy it in the best of health!

My favorite Lange! I would have made the same choice. One of the nicest chronos from any manufacturer, IMHO.
