My white gold and blue dial Cabaret

I am fond of the Cabaret for long years. Last spring, I sold my 1815, and upgrade my Lange approach with a white gold and blue dial Cabaret . The quest was long and hard, but I succeed.

Here it is. I like the big date in this kind of case. The blue dial is very difficult to catch, and I apologize for my poors pics :

I would love to have a blue dialed Lange but because I don\t, I must send a picture of distant cousin...

I received this watch today. It was produced some 30 years ago and it was N.O.S. I do not have any information about the watch. I can just see that it\s 18 c white gold and the dial is blue. Also the was like new, the blue suede strap unused and the watch came with a new.like blue box and open guarantee papers.

If somebody knows more about this funny creature, please tell also me!


















The watch has a manual winding movement. When winding it, the watch sounds like a Belarus tractor! Perhaps I should add some oil to the movement...

In the end of 60's and beginning 70's JLC made several similar watches with this kind of crown.

Yours looks lika Vogue-9046 (the one to the left).

Here in the 1971 catalogue with black dial.

Yes, mine is WG. 

By the way; still some time ago I promised that never a vintage. And all this rubbish started from one innocent Rolex 5513.

Some more hard to find Cabarets

The Nota romana from 2003: very rare!

Cabarets with the caliber L931.2, without small second hand BUT diamond crusted ... so you can imagine how rare these are.

But anyhow: a nice Lange indeed!

Yes, it is difficult to find, no doubt about that: you have to be lucky.

It was Lange's commitment as a serious watchmaker to offer a form movement and look what a stunner it became.
