the Lange case have a fluid quality that I find very alluring. Your first shot captures that well. What a great piece - mine is at Glashütte and I am counting the days till it is back!

It's a nice clean sober design.  Beautifully simple and also simply beautiful.  

Perhaps a bit of Bauhaus simplicity.

the big date got stuck at "31". Since the watch is from late 2005 I figured that it is up for a checkup anyway and sent it in. The good folks from Glashütte let me know that this should not have happened and that they will do a full revision of the movement for free! Great service. In addition I am having the moonphase disk exchanged for the bright blue version of the current model. Now I am counting the days till the perpetual is back ... unfortunately it is vacation time in Saxony!

I'm sure that when it comes back , you will be getting an almost new watch in 100% working condition.

Similiar thing happened to me with another high end piece, also with a date problem. It came back looking like new and with upgraded parts. And the best part , FOC, as it was still under warranty. Service & customer satisfaction can never be under estimated and I'm certain ALS will go beyond what is necessary to ensure that you are happy with the outcome.

Even parity with Pt.! YG may be old fashioned or unpopular but there is a certain mysticism and warmth about it that is incomparable. IMO some pieces look their best in the yellow metal,eg. PP 2499, Lange PLM tourby, Breguet La Tradition, etc.
