Has anyone noticed the chronograph seconds hand creeping backwards slowly on the double split(1 sec/5days) when wearing their watch? When I action the return to zero pusher it returns to zero.
You have to differenciate the chrono hands - one for the chrono and the other for the rattrapante - and when they are overlapping. Also if this happens when you are reading off normal time without having activated either of these functions within 5 days.
It stands explicitly within the instruction book from ALS that one should NOT keep the chrono function running when it is not serving its purpose. The triangular teeth will receive unnecessary wear.
If you have been doing that, then 1 sec in 5 days sounds pretty good to me!
Play with it, if you will, but please respect the fact that it was made to do that for which it was intended.
Apologies for chiding you - while keeping in mind that there may be a real problem in there.

the chrono function is not in use. both the chronograph and split seconds hand slowly move in an anti clockwise direction from zero. i do not let the chrono run unless i am timing something.
