A. Lange & Söhne

I am triying to show on these new pics what a magnificent alloy this honey gold is: it delivers all three shades of gold !

It was so far often mentioned  white and a light rose gold, but a light yellow is also possible, depending on the light.


Some tought and imressions about technicality:


- a very, very accurate run ( keeps on the second more than over a week, so far )


- the moonphase is VERY userfriendly as you can wind the movement also backwards ( due to the missing date function )


A note in appreciation of the AD : not only that he got me the watch, there was also pink champagne served at handing over !

Well done in acquiring such a rare watch! I wished I could get one too!

It is very lovely indeed! There was a lot of debate going on when it was announced, on whether the old version is better and I think the new one actually is better looking, especially with that guilloche.

Can not really compare as I did not see the old in the flesh, just on pics, but with respect to the owners of the first

one:

 

- The new has a massive gold dial, not silver dial

 

- The decoration on the back is simply mind-boggling !

 

- The guilloche is just magic

 

- The movement is a new one as it has got an inhouse spring and not a Nivarox anymore

 

- Last but not least: HONEY GOLD ! My new favorite metal !

All with due respect to the owners of the old model !

I really love this watch. One of my favorite Lange & Soehne timepieces.

Thank you for the pictures! I have seen the honey gold in person and I'm still intrigued by it.

lovely looking timepiece...the honey gold colour looks great, any chance of some better pics in bright daylight to have a better look?

I believe also as the number is quite small, not telling though if it is from end or beginning.

I put a bit effort into purchasing it as I bought this from a top AD in a major European capitol.

And I do not mean Berlin, as many would think now if they know that I am registered being from Germany.

But, again, I have to thank you also very much for your post about the Lange novelties 2010 !

It is not the most expensive, nor complicated watch in the world but to own a limited Lange is something quite special for me.
