A special Tourbograph was specifically made for the french retailer Dubail. This jewelled watch combines the impressive technical features of the caliber L903.0 with the artistic wuse of the precious diamonds.

I must confess it is always special to wear such type of watch !

I have to admit it is a very impressive piece which is from a technical and artificial point of view over the top, but in my opinion that "diamond thing" doesnt suit to Lange watches.

but It would be interesting to see in person. thanks for the pictures

Been hearing about it, and was actually offered by the boutique here, in fact they told me it was a unique piece, but I seem to see in one of your photos that it is part of the original 51 pieces. So guess they told me wrong.

Anyways, looks nice, and I definitely love all that Platinum!

Normally I would say that diamonds detract from the point, and the point is the watch's movement.

But in the case of this watch, the diamonds not only detract from the watch, the design of the diamonds and their arrangements actually make the watch completely unattractive.

The pattern and design of these diamonds makes this watch extremely unattractive. What were the jewelers at Lange thinking?

This is the first Lange I really don't like.

The 5971P does look nice with diamonds, but I don't think it looks that much more nicer than a normal 5970P to go through the additional trouble and expense for diamonds. Basically, the 5971 isn't a huge improvement over the 5970 in my personal opinion. This is probably because the normal 5970 is already such a stunning watch already.

I would definitely take the 5971 over a 5970 if I were wearing the watch to a more formal occasion. But for everyday wear, the 5970 is actually easier to wear and more low-key.

But yes, the diamonds on this Lange watch are as you said, "hideous."

Diamonds on a Lange are hideous ? But you forget the diamonds endstones of the Lange tourbillons ! There are great !

I have nothing against diamonds. I truly don't. I like diamond endstones too! I wished non-tourbillon watches had these diamond endstones.

I think CL meant that they're hideous when applied all over this watch, personally, I'm inclined to agree.

You've seen it in person and tried it on, so maybe the watch looks different in person. I'll hold my reservations about it until I've seen it in the flesh.

In your wristshots.  It sits very nicely and appears that the bracelet molds to your wrist.  Its really not that bad - over the top - sure, but not ugly -

What I think is throuing most folks are the blued hands - it doesnt "match" the watch.  Black dial and WG hands - this would be possibly a bit better???  Maybe different style printing as well. 

Whatver it is - made me smile.

I won't be buying too
Just can't see the beauty of it. It reminds me of a Simplicity covered with diamonds....equally 'ugly'.

Your photos are great but I think that is a little bit too many diamonds on a Lange. If it's just the bezel then it would be elegant! But around the whole bracelet as well might be a little bit too much! But there are a lot of ultra rich people out there that likes these kind of watches so can't really blame Lange for making them.

Just way toooooooo much bling.

Why spoil an already marvellous timepiece.

This watch has all it needs, an amazing movement.
