Nice for a bigger wrist
And a better diameter to thickness ratio
The original L1, as almost perfect as it is, is somewhat thick for its diameter
For my wrist, the original GL1 at 42mm seemed too big
Around 40mm would be perfect and a better diameter to thickness ratio than the original L1
But 40mm is probably too close to the original L1 at 38.5mm so Lange likely won't make such a version (even if at one time, Lange had 38.5mm and 40mm 1815s offered at the same time)
