Date window on the Moon. I also find the dial on the Moon as has a "plastic" look which doesn't do it for me. My first choice in Lange 1, however, would be a Darth.
I'm sorry - I actually miss read your post. I somehow thought you were asking about the WG Black dial variant, not the PT.
The dial on the PT version is, indeed, lovely. And this is more of a fair fight in my eyes.

The Stealth is a classic beauty. The moon adds a bit of whimsy to the otherwise serious dial. It’s all personal preference, of course, but I enjoy the dash of color and complication of the moonphase, and nothing about it seems “plastic” to me. Can’t go wrong either way.
Hahaha! Sorry about that, I somehow thought the OP was asking about the black dial/WG version.
The dial on the PT version is lovely.
L1 Moophase
The moonphase and lumed hands change the look toward the more casual. It's my favorite Lange short of the original Dato. I don't own one but I sure wish I did.
The regular stealth is a beauty but is simply more plain than the L1 Moonphase. Some would use the word "pure" for the stealth but it seems a bit dry (very teutonic, of course...that's the style choice).

The looks of these two watches really are quite different.
The Stealth is classic. An icon. But I am a bit biased against the Stealth only because years ago I spent a lot of time comparing it to the 101.027x (silver dial, printed markers, and blue hands in a WG case), which I liked much more. As a result, it's hard to me to look at the Stealth and not think about that. I prefer the older movements (101.025), too.
The PT L1 Moonphase (192.025) has a nice, balanced look to it, but I never liked the lume plots -- the twelve plots around the time subdial and the plots for the power reserve indicator.
The "negatives" (for me) that I raised are really minor. We can all find small "faults" with most of our watches, including the ones that we own. Overall, I like both of your potential choices and feel like you can't go wrong with either one. There's a reason these are popular models!
But if you're looking to buy a brand new 192.025, can you still get it? I thought it was discontinued, unless you found one still in stock.
Ah great. If you don't have other moonphase watches that you like a lot, I might go for the 109.025 just for the variety.
They are both great, and you’ll likely be happy with either one.
My personal vote would be the stealth, but that splash of color in the moonphase would be very tempting.
Both are honestly wonderful, so this is really done to personal preference.
I would personally go for the stealth.

To my eye it's one if the most beautiful Lange's ever made.

I’m in a similar position, and received a very competitive offer to buy a 1st gen Stealth L1. On paper it’s perfect for my taste in watches, but in person I found the watch too minimal despite my preferences.
At this point the L1 I’d like to own would be a platinum Moonphase. The hand lume and moon disc break up the monochromatic palette.
