True Story
Like many of you, my family has been hunkered down in our home for nearly the last year and a half. Over that time we spent very little money, not going out and canceled vacations with quiet weeks on end at home.
After I got my vaccine while driving around I noticed two Porsches for sale down the street and I had the money in my watch account to purchase one. When I asked my wife about purchasing it her head whipped around and her eyes popped out of her head like a cartoon character. She exclaimed “Are you going through a midlife crisis? You’re a watch guy, go buy a watch!”
I present to you my Lange 1815 chronograph with a steering wheel shot of my Honda Accord.

From someone who truly loves watches but doesn’t even own a car anymore (I always rent), I totally approve of your and wife’s choice — superb end-of-pandemic acquisition!😄🥂

Same, the car situation is really annoying
We use it exclusively to travel with kids and living in Paris makes owning one a big pain. But then when you need it you REALLY need one.
Yes, here in Italy I need it on a daily basis but only for about 4 months a year, so I'd rather get it new every time I'm back (and return it much older ;-)) Probably not the the cheapest choice, but by far the most worry-free ;-) Cheers.

One of the best chronos in today's market and my favourite reiteration from the brand. Saying that, I would have opted for any of the two Porsches!

I have considered doing the same.
Selling my black Daytona and BLNR would just about do it.
And you would not be regretting it!
Both cars and watches give us much satisfaction and the smile on your face while driving your Porsche will be hard to imitate
Woohoo! Congrats! Might take a few tries to stage the Porsche purchase but as long as the wife supports the watches until then, sounds like life is good!
Tough call as I love my Porsches and Langes’s.
But right now in my life I’ll take my Porsche’s. But I’ve been on a car kick the last several years. Just found and bought MB GD 250 wolf imported from a German military base. Only about 50 of these stateside. And I just dewiinterized Mr. Purple. Below is a pic of my buddy taking a pic of himself after a long day of 4x4. Great Lange BTW!!
