What is the background? A tablecloth? It's a fine example of wonderful collection of tessellating shapes!
A beautiful collection of all the Zeitwerks in all the metals (except YG). Standard ZW in WG, Striking Time ZW in PT, and Minute Repeater ZW in RG (or is it HG?). A fine collection, and a fine tessellating pattern! Exquisite taste, not only in watches too!
An eye for Escher!
Very good at identifying the background, with all those distracting timepieces on it. The background is, in fact, an original MC Escher mezzotint circa 1951, Boole #373, Mosaic I / Plane Filling I. Escher is yet another of my weaknesses. ;-)

I love Escher! I had inexpensive Escher prints and a vintage poster when I was in college. I'm familiar with his tessellation designs, but not that one. I guess I remember the more generic birds and fishes designs.
That is awesome! And an awesome other hobby to have! One that I fully endorse and like myself, although I'm sure I know nothing about it and I don't own any Eschers other than what I had in college (which I wonder where they are now... somewhere in storage probably).

Escher was and remains my first passion. I have a few. All originals, most signed. Mezzotints, woodcuts, lithos, and a few drawings. If you have a particular favourite...like any collector, I love to show off.
Can't get Zeitwerk out of my head.
I've tried the black dial one on at Wempe's in midtown last week, very tempting...
From the moment
I first saw the announcement, and later the Watchtime cover, I had to have one. I'm a Lange fan, and have a few pieces, but the Zeitwerk, to me, is what real innovation and horological are about. Moreover a design masterpiece. So, my unbiased opinion 😉 Go for it!

What a collection! I love the Zeitwerk myself and am very impressed. Any thoughts on adding the Zeitwerk Handwerkskunst?

Handwerkskunst
I must admit much of my love for Lange is in their clean lines, sophisticated aesthetics, and a lack of "bling." The handwerkskunst pieces demonstrate real skill, but they are not for my eye. I actually prefer the look of the Striking Time to the Decimal Strike. I find even the minute bit of Tremblage distracting. But, to each, their own. I am fortunate in these three.
wearability of the 44mm Zeitwerk Striking Time
Can anyone comment on the size/fit/feel of this watch? I really want one but I I had a Panerai Submersible and got rid of it just because it was too big and bulky (on my 19.5 cm wrist). I am considering trading it for my Patek 5990.
ZW ST is big and bulky, but my wrist (154mm) is smaller than yours, so it might feel better on yours...
... and of course it's totally different from the Aquanautilus look.
