Those early Lange catalogs from the mid-1990s are harder to find than most limited edition watches!
Notice the very small scales/tiles on the alligator strap in the 1995/1996 catalog in your top photo. Lange used those small-scale straps in all their catalog pics through the 1997/1998 catalog. Then, in the 1999/2000 catalog, Lange changed to the larger-tile ("bamboo" grain) alligator straps that we still see today.
Always appreciate your posts... This January in Glasshuette I've tried to answer your question with Kirsten (Lange caseback makers mark), but... ((( never got a response... WBR Serge
))) In 1995/96 all the photos of ALS watches were made with full lenght strap, nothing with folded strap or bracelet 1997/98 - 50%/50% 1999/2000 ONLY with folded straps/bracelets Trends in watch shooting? )) WBR Serge
Why does the blue dial Lange 1 not get more love? It's relatively rare, gorgeous, collectors seem to love blue dials, but not enough people talk about the L1 blue dial enough. It's a travesty! I find it to be plain stunning
