Got these 2 back over the past month from a long service holiday. By that I mean the servicing seemed to take a long time. The positive was that it was like getting new watches when they came back in how they looked and the fact they'd been gone so long it felt like day 1 with them again. It's been out for service since the end of March. Since there is no Lange service center in Taiwan, the watch had to be sent to Hong Kong. I've been told to expect getting it back in September, which means a five to six months of turnaround time, including the initial inspection, quote and shipping (to and from HK).
I guess ALS is lack of enough masters to work on complication like Datograph. It might become worse, since more complications have been made. I'm still thinking of send mine for spa, but I should miss it a lot!
In reality the lange1 took 7 months including shipping customs etc. The Dato took an extra month. The servicing also included case refurbishment and I'm sure that added to the time. But boy do they look pristine!
