A. Lange & Söhne

I just finished reading Peter Chong's article on "The Vertical Collection: Three essential watches from A. Lange & Sohne" was extremely satisfying, since I "only" have 3 Langes in my collection. Sometimes it good to look at our collections and feel we are on point. There are many opinions on what should be your 3rd Lange, but for me it has always been the Zeitwerk!  Still it is a controversial piece for Lange.  Some say its too big, others feel its too cold (Germanic), but to me the Z has always been about making one side both simple unique and the other side, simply amazing.

Love all three.. and great choice with the RG/Anthracite combo on the Lange 1 - a very attractive offset to the black/white on the Zw and Dato.

...they fit your wrist. Of course it must be the case if you have them and are happy with it. Unfortunately, it's not my case : I had a Datograph long ago as its design and caliber are a marvel, but could not keep it as it was really uncomfortable on my wrist. Probably a mix of different factors : the height of the case giving a "hamburger effect" if I may say so just like I was having with the PP 3970, its weight due to its solid platinum case, and probably the case / lugs shape. Please do not misunderstand me, I don't criticize the watch but my wrist (probably small size and shape) which simply did not match with the Dato. I was so sad not to wear it but it was not reasonable to keep a watch that you cannot wear or without pleasure due to discomfort. I still regret but no choice
