From the limited knowledge I have, it's not the jumping seconds (seconde morte) that makes it interesting. It's the clever use of the constant force mechanism (Remontoire d'égalité) to drive the jumping seconds, instead of separate gearing, that is making this really interesting.
Adding in a tourbillon to an already complicated watch is commendable, but doesn't fall into the "ingenious" category. Neither do adding a moon phase to existing models. But thankfully, this particular Richard Lange ticks all our mental boxes
I wished they skeletonised the plate more to reveal more details..

Eg the clickspring of the barrel, or a clearer view of the rementoir. The top half feels a little too plain compared to the intricate reset mechanism near the balance wheel
