I have seen the NEW "La Tradition" models...
... sorry but I can not post them since they are not mine, but you can easily find them in the WEB... Mixed first feelings... I was sure that "La Tradition" was called that, for a reason.... And that a special attention was given to even recreate the color of gold of A.-L.B's era....
The novelty was to see the new pareshute and the movement on the front face of the watch (If even that was a novelty, since I saw a photo of a Breguet museum watch resembling the looks of the La Tradition)... And it was good !!! The novelty not only did justice to the watch but also to the word "Tradition"...
But now, the gold became rose, the dial became black and when the gold is white the movement is grey and the dial is still black...
Nick Hayec have told us that there will be a "La Tradition" line and it started well ... Except the first La Tradition, came the autonatic one with retrograde seconds and a rotor shaped like a rotor of the time of A.-L. B. and then the tourbillon with the very traditional and rare chain and fusee power transmission... And now intead of a new model or complication, what have we got? A play with colors ultimately destorying the subtle effect of continuity, of TRADITION...
The watches look good, do not misunderstand me... BUT they do not belong in the "La Tradition" family , IMHO.... I would like to hear your opinions, not if you like them or not but mainly if you think they belong to the Tradition line...

You know that I have Breguet and Hayek in highest esteem, but I think this is a wrong move, even if it is the easy way out, to have something that looks new (but it is not...) in the times of economic depression...

I agree with you...ihave seen them on another website.....and although they still look exquisite........I still prefer the yellow gold.......Tradition means Tradition, but who am I to question 'BREGUET'.................

I've never liked the WG
But i like the new-all-white version but for the dial. They cleaned up some of the weird little gold-colored bits that annoyed me in the older WG model. On the other hand that dial looks like it fell out of the Marine line, and it would look much better there....

Sorry I have been slow to respond. These Breguet offerings are going to take a little while to digest, and of course ultimately we will need to see them in the metal to decide. Now that we have some photos from Tony and Anthony, I took the liberty of posting my comments in a new thread.
