Breguet

Here is my dilemma--I have a Classique manual wind 5907bb in white gold as well as a Classique with Power Reserve Moonphase 3137br. I am looking for a good everyday piece, preferably an automatic. So, I am thinking of selling each of my pieces. Does anyone have any idea what sort of value these pieces would have now? Each are in mint condition and very seldom worn. Also, what is the best avenue to sell? I am located in Tucson, Arizona.

Secondly, any recommendations for a replacement piece? I love the look of the 5907bb; I am just tired of winding every day. Thank you in advance.

You have two very nice Breguet’s there. The 5907 has a wonderful dial, but I guess at 34mm it’s a little small by today’s standards. Still, a very nice dress watch. The 3137 is an automatic at 35mm, but not something that you would consider wearing as an everyday piece? Do you want something more ‘simple’ for everyday use? To stick with Breguet, you will see that many here love the 5817 Marine which is 39mm, very versatile and comes with an automatic calibre.

 

As to value, try doing internet searches and checking out the Sales Corners of the various watch Fora and you will start to get an idea of value. We have a Collectors Market here on PuristSPro where you would be welcome to post your watches for sale.
