Vitrine 5 Montres perpetuelles...
The 1976 MIH Breguet exhibition catalog has a dearth of pictures, only one of the Vitrine 5 watches has an accompanying picture (Breguet No. 46); to give a glimpse of Vitrine 5, images of nine of the ten watches were gathered (Breguet No. 1615 was not located). The Breguet fan can imagine the number 5 display-case must have been a sight to beheld.
Apropos of MIH and Thomas Engel...
Along with Breguet No. 2782 (Vitrine 5, No. 6), enclosed from Watchmaker to Kings, Thomas Engel lent a baker's dozen of Breguets to the 1976 MIH Breguet exhibition and wrote the preface to the exhibition catalog entitled Betrachtungen zum Werk von A.-L. Breguet (George Daniels wrote the catalog introduction).
