Enjoying the Breguet Tradition Automatique Seconde Retrograde 7097

Some photos at the sun enjoying the wonderful Breguet Tradition Automatique Second Retrograde 7097. Really a very special watch and love the modern size of this version...
I always have a problem with watches whose dial / sub-dials or functions straddle each other (here the retrograde second and the hour dial)

It was already the case with the Breguet 7057 vs 7027 with the ugly positioning of its power reserve indicator or the Grande Lange 1 vs Lange 1 for instance.
I can understand for the 37mm of the 7027 (I own one) but I do not understand why Breguet didn't develop a new movement for the 7057.

They just increased the case size and the hour dial (probably a demand from customers). And, why keeping the power reserve on the front side (you can see it on the back side) and put it on the side of the hour dial. That is horrible no?
My guess is that it was more financially viable...

507DR/DR1 not sure about the small differences...I really liked the 7057 too (It didn't look plain or empty from what I can recall) I think the front size power reserve is just to show it a glance.. I like the 37mm too but it was more difficult to read so I did wait ..and found the 40mm automatic really nice. From what I heard is not a super popular model thou...I mean all la tradition...
The Tradition is one of long time grail and I will shortly get one, but most probably the "traditional" Tradition in 37mm. Not sure yet about the material though. Torn between the WG and RG with the "black face". Decisions, decisions. PS: Südanflug? ;-).
