thread: Glashütte Original Senator Klassik Chronograph Datum - It had to be mine
I have seen this model on the internet, and find it very interesting. I may get one someday. I like the way the date is at the 12, to balance out the normailly empty spot. Gives it a more even look. Enjoy it, and do keep us advised on how you like...

possibly a 3970 if they like the smaller size.  The 5270's dial just appears bland compared to the 5970, but JMHO.

thread: A few pics of my Breitling Old Navitimer II
I've always liked the Navitimer, but felt itmight be a bit large on my wrist.  That's a really cool custom built cipter.  Did you have as much fun building that as you do building a custom 1911? Cheers,  Frederick

thread: BaselWorld 2013: Jaquet Droz (an international collaboration)
Just wanted to share a pic of my Eclipse that I picked up a short while ago.  It wears very comfortably on the wrist.  I just found a "new" brand" I admire and will follow closely.

I hope everything will smooth out for your country in the near future. I've been wanting to visit Croatia; maybe it will happen soon. Best to you and your lovely family. Cheers, Frederick
