Selling a very rare and absolutely stunning gents 1933 Zenith Pilots Watch

The watch is mechanical with a stainless steel case.

It has a black fabric strap with a stainless steel buckle.

The dial is in black enamel.

It is in extremely good condition and was fully reconditioned by a member of the british horological institute.

Feature on the watch... the outer bezel/ marker (the marker between 12>1 moves 360 degrees and so this marker can be moved around the face.   

The watch comes with a letter from a member of the british horological institute that states its authenticity. Also note that I am an amateur watch collector and coupled with my 100% ebay feedback can state that this is real/ not a fake.

NEW ADDITION AFTER JUST BUYING TO MAKE THIS AUCTION MORE DESIRABLE.... The watch comes with a very nice zenith box (the original one i was going to sell with this watch was well made yet not zenith). The Grey velour Zenith man's watch box is in excellent condition (without watch cushion) .It is approximately 14cm x 11cm, lined and padded inside, attractive stitching outside -this is a very well made watch box designed for a high end Zenith watch.

It also comes with a spare authentic zenith watch buckle. I was at some stage going to get another strap made (leather) for it however never got around to it (and the strap that is currently on it looks very nice/ authentic anyway).

Some measurements:

diameter=40mm

diameter (including the onion crown/ lug i.e width ways along the horizontal plane of 9>3 oclock)=50mm

thickness of watch=13mm

I estimate that this watch is now worth approx £1500 (3000 usd) and so the starting price of £799 on ebay or the 'buy it now' price here represents a bargain!

I will make sure the watch is extremely well packaged and also insured.

Really sad to see it go after only purchasing it in January 2008 however the state of my finances forces the sale.
