The watch keeps excellent time. It is guaranteed genuine. I have ordered the Extract from the Archives, which is included with the purchase.
This model does not come up for sale very often, privately or at auction. I have not seen a YG model up for sale for several years. WG ones appear from time to time. I have never seen a RG version.
It is a wonderful example of Vacheron鈥檚 designs from the 1990鈥檚 The inspiration for the design was a Vacheron watch from the 1940鈥檚 with the stylized flattened tear-drop lugs, lsuch as the model Reference 4178.
Production of the 47051was discontinued about 2001.
Asking price is $15000USD which includes shipping in the U.S. and Canada.
