For sale is a pink gold 1947 Vacheron Constantin Triple Date Calendar reference 4240. I purchased this from the family of the original owner, who originally purchased the watch in Monte Carlo back in the 1940s (unfortunately this was only verbally communicated and not documented in writing). The watch was stored in a safe for well over the past 30 years and still keeps accurate time so long as one fully winds the crown. Originally bought as an homage to my father's birth year, I'd like to sell this as I've only been able to wear it a handful of times. The color has been confirmed as pink gold by the Vacheron boutique in NYC. I am asking USD $18,000 for this piece and it includes FedEx shipping to anywhere in the United States (shipping additional for outside of United States).
