Description
For sale is a guaranteed authentic Panerai PAM 359! It is not a grey market watch, this is from an authorized dealer. I have owned this and cared for this like a baby. You can see in the pictures, it has very few blemishes. This was manufactured in 2012 and purchased from Tourneau very shortly thereafter as a certified piece. It went back to Panerai in Switzerland for a full overhaul this summer. They put a new case, new crystal and gave the movement an entire overhaul. This watch looks and performs like the day it came to me, and keeps amazing time. There are a few very minor scuffs around the bezel and case. The leather strap has a bit of wear, but that is to be expected. The Rubber strap is also in great shape! It comes with all of the boxes, manuals, and tools to change straps. The bit on the screwdriver is stripped, so i will include another small screwdriver to assist with changing bands. Any questions, please ask. PANERAI’s PAM 359 uses the PANERAI P.9000 calibre automatic mechanical movement – an entirely in-house movement developed by PANERAI in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Available functions on offer in the PANERAI PAM 359 range from a date display to hours, minutes and small seconds. The Luminor Marina 1950’s 44 mm diameter case-housing is made from polished AISI 316L stainless steel. This material is hypoallergenic, extremely corrosion-resistant, and thus particularly suitable for wearing next to the skin.

As befits a high-quality timepiece, the PANERAI PAM 359 has a polished steel bezel and also a transparent sapphire crystal caseback, which permits an unobstructed view of the exquisite P.9000 calibre movement. Its dial features fluorescent Arabic numerals and hour markings.
ELEGANCE
Like the PANERAI models developed for the Italian navy, this watch has a black sandwich dial. The date is read at the 3 o'clock position, with seconds at 9 o'clock position, and a 2.6 mm thick anti-glare watch-glass guarantees optimal readability, even under difficult light conditions. The Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic is also water-resistant to 300 metres (30 bar).

The Luminor Marina 1950 3 Days Automatic PAM 359 belongs to PANERAI’s Contemporary Collection and comes with a leather strap measuring 24/22 mm (width) and 115/75 mm (length), complete with a classic satin-steel buckle. Owners also receive a second interchangeable rubber strap and strap-replacement tools. As used in many Luminor 1950 and Radiomir models, the P.9000 calibre possesses an array of distinguished technical features which sets it apart from others of its kind. Amongst these features are a 3-day power reserve achieved from having two barrels, a single piece rotor which winds bi-directionally by virtue of being fitted with an automatic ratchet device, and a balance wheel with adjustable screws which oscillates at a rate of 4 Hz or 28,800 alternations/hour.
The P.9000 calibre, which is the exclusive creation of OFFICINE PANERAI, has a diameter of 13¾ lignes (31 mm) and is housed in a made to measure version of the Luminor 1950 case. This case has been designed specifically for housing the P.9000 calibre, while retaining the classic proportions of the original, though it does have a marginally less convex sapphire crystal than the P.9000, which means that it only slightly protrudes over the bezel.
