United StatesI’m going to let the scans do the talking here, as this is quite simply one of the nicest Omega Seamaster 2913’s you’ll ever come across. One of Omega’s “holy trinity” circa 1957-58, this one takes its place along side the Railmaster 2914 and Speedmaster 2915 as some of the most classic tool watches ever produced.
Briefly, the movement is the correct Caliber 501, recently serviced and running well. Arrow hands are correct, as is the dial, bezel, bezel insert, case, case back, etc. 95% of the 2913s which turn up on that famous auction site and elsewhere are hodge-podges of parts from over the years. Not this one. Crystal has the small Omega logo on it, as the original crystals from this time period should. Bezel insert, although lightly restored, is also original, which is virtually never the case with these (typically after-market replacement inserts).
Price is low at $4,650 plus shipping, especially for an example like this one.
Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
Thanks.
Darren
(note, scans were taken by a photographer far better than me – all scans are of the watch for sale)
