Old man and the sea part 2 - trying to sort my sonβs fishing equipment π£
Our son has fond memories of fishing from a large place in the East - admittedly that was a pleasant and super efficient enterprise, where he would catch kilos of fish within 15 minutes and then have them appropriately prepared on site (or we would take the remainder home). The average size was 3-10 pounds.
So the urge to repeat the experience was strong, so enter the Mediterranean shoreline for a very different experience. Took me a while to sort the rod and tackle (or whatever you call that) but finally got it all ready. The results were modest (and I am not sure that I am not actually happier that way), i.e. there was no catch ππ€·π»ββοΈ
And I finally had to do most of the rod holding while he beach combed his way around ποΈ
At least the Omega Seamaster 1948 was unperturbed throughout and given that diving was not on the cards, the 60m WR was less of an issue.
What is on your wrist these days? Wishing you a great start of the week ππ»
