Description

Omega Flightmaster c.1971

Case number 145.036, caliber number 911.
Manual-wind movement with chronograph and GMT.

We are an authorized Omega service centre and we originally received this watch for repair. It was found to have substantial moisture damage, and after consultation with our client, we purchased the watch from him.

It has since undergone a complete restoration including a full movement service, several new movement parts, a new dial, new hands, new chapter ring, new crystal, new crowns, new pushers, new case tubes, new casing gaskets, and refinishing of the case and bracelet.

The bracelet is original to the watch and is in fairly good condition considering the age and weight of the watch.

The original parts replaced during the restoration are available upon request.

Omega Flightmaster Ref 145 013 / 145 026 / 145 036. A discovery for me.
A discovery not really, as I saw some very nice ones, in some window displays of some dealers. I have always been attracted by the dials, not so much by the case, which is funky, huge and thick ( 43 x 53 x 15 mm ). But with years passing, I started to pay some interest and affection for this model.

An Old Master
I have to confess to being a naughty boy but what's a boy supposed to do when confronted by temptation!! I've been drooling over Flightmasters and have done some research. I'm sure most of you know that there were two 'generations' of Flightmasters - the cal 910 (145.013) which was made from 1969 to
