The Tides of Time edition was produced in a series of only 350 and is exclusively in titanium with blue accents. (The Rossi edition in yellow was produced in a run of over 900 units).

 This unique JLC Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm watch has an ingenious world time display system, enabling it to indicate the time in 24 of the world’s cities simultaneously. Instant reading of the time in the 24 time zones of the world is thus possible thanks to the city disc and the 24-hour rotating ring. This reading requires a pre-setting, which consists of setting the local time by positioning the corresponding city at 6 o’clock. The time in the city selected corresponds to the mechanism reference time. Case is a combination of fine brushed/satin finished grade 5 Titanium & polished Stainless Steel. Luminous hour markers & hands. 24 Different World times surrounds the dial. The world time is adjusted using the black crown located at the 10 o'clock position. Alarm function: set by the crown at the 1 o'clock position, the alarm can be set to the minute as indicated on the elongated window at the 9 o'clock position.

The alarm has a quick on & off toggle switch located above & below the crown at the 10 o'clock position. Date window located at the 3 o'clock position. Master Compressor Crowns- Water Resistance - using the revolutionary new patented design, they are equipped with an external butterfly collar that turns a 1/2 turn clock-wise & counter clock-wise (independently of the crowns), each collar has blue & white enamel indicating arrows. White arrow indicates the crown is secure/water resistant or unlocked for adjustment. When the collar is in the secure position it compresses a gasket that ensures water resistance. Comes with an easily interchangeable extra black rubber strap which can be changed in seconds by the means of a quick-release button on the back of the case. The completely assembled watch undergoes a rigorous 1000 hours test before the watch ships from the factory! A new generation of alarm watches Three original functions: a closed and angled gong optimising the resonance and power of the sound; a double push-piece serving to stop or start the alarm function; two hour and minute discs enhancing user-friendliness and reliability. World time The city disc and rotating 24-hour ring make it easy to read off the 24 time zones. Once a pre-adjustment has been made, the time in any of the cities indicated may be read off at all times.
