Another long-unworn piece. It’s largish but comfortable. Very good diameter to thickness ratio. A pleasure on the wrist. JLC really forged a different path with the Master Compressor line, not derivative of the usual sports watches.
The compressor crowns are easy to use, much easier than screw-down crowns, and look cool and technical.

That was a very good one. You are right about the Master Compressor Family. I was a lover from the first hours, and jumped on the Master Compressor Memovox, in 2002.
The technical and strong look was a revolution, at that time, and the funny thing is that it was not very warmly welcome. Now I would love to see something in this vein reintroduced. JLC lacks watches of this kind. Best, Nicolas

In some sense I can see why the MCM and the other Master Compressors were not warmly welcomed. They were a strong departure from the mainstream, and especially for a more conservative brand such as JLC, which had not yet begun its 2000s adventure into cre...

JLC would need something more daring, and/ or a new Duomètre !! And it‘s funny: I haven‘t worn my MCM a lot lately but I definitely intend to do so in the near future ! Best, hs
