IWC Aquatimer Chrono-Automatic Cousteau Divers Limited edition

The Aquatimer "Cousteau Divers" were made to pay tribute to Jacques-Yves Cousteau, the Frenchman who found fame as a pioneer of diving, and became the first man to explore the underwater world and co-invented the equipment used in the scuba diving today. He made ordinary people aware of the spectacular world that lay below the surface of the world's seas and oceans. Jacques-Yves Cousteau is an untiring and committed protector of the environment, a scientist with a talent for effective public relations who took up the cudgels on behalf of the seas and in 1974, founded the Cousteau Society. In conjunction with the Cousteau Society's Red Sea expedition, IWC released in 2004 the first Aquatimer Cousteau Diver watch, which was followed by the Aquatimer chronograph Cousteau Divers. This Aquatimer Chronograph is the second chronograph in the world that has been designed to be used underwater. The first being the Tag Huer's Aquagraph. However, the IWC Aquatimer Chronograph is the first watch to combine this very practical function with an internally rotating bezel. The result is an ideal diver's watch. Offered in SS 42mm diameter case, this watch has start/ stop and reset ushers that can actually be operated under water at the full 120 metters depth. You can also use the chronograph to accurately measure the elapsed dive time to a fraction of a second or alternately use it to calculate your decompression time. I have posted here a latest model of the Aquatimer Chronograh "Cousteau Diver" collection which is limited to 2500 pieces worldwide. This watch has a striking blue and orange dial, screwed-in crown, a convex sapphire crystal, centre seconds plus day of the week and date-display at 3, chronograph seconds, 30 minutes, 12-hour sub-dials in white and applied luminous baton hands. Screw-lock case back has a relief of a scuba diver in the sea surrounded by fishes. Movement is IWC automatic chronograph Caliber 79320 (base Caliber ETA Valjoux 7750), Watch come with a specially-made matching anti-allergy blue rubber strap. This watch was purchased in early 2008 and is in a very good condition with only some hairline scratches on bezel and the case. All functions work perfectly. It comes with all papers and boxes and factory servicing paper (dated 2011). This limited edition Aquatimer chronograph since released has been very well received. Hence do not miss this opportunity.
