Up for sale is this 100% authentic MIDSIZE Unisex Breguet Classique manual wind wristwatch with subsidiary seconds in solid 18 karat yellow gold. From the best available information I have been able to find, this handsome dress watch was manufactured at some point in the early 1990s. It features a magnificent multi-textured Guilloche dial with classic Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet hands (of course). This great midsize Breguet, measuring approximately 30mm in diameter, was just fully overhauled by my NYC Master Watchmaker and is in overall Near Mint condition. It has a solid back with a serial number that matches the one on the dial and comes on what I believe to be its original deBeer Paris handmade crocodile strap with correct-for-the-era unsigned “GRG” 18k buckle.

CASE & BACK: Elegant and understated round case with coin-edge sides measures 30mm in diameter and 35mm from lug tip to lug tip and a super slim 5mm thick. The only real marks to speak of are a couple of nicks to the non-crown side, so by my tough standards I rate the case as easily Excellent+. The solid gold back has correct and matching nomenclature as well as a fine decorative “ribbon” pattern. Both are super crisp and the back is easily Near Mint. (Please note: This
is a MIDSIZE case at 30mm. While it packs a lot of beauty and punch into its smallish dimensions it is still a smallish watch by today’s standards. I sincerely hope that any potential buyer will be clear on this fact
prior to any commitment to purchase.)
DIAL & HANDS: Absolutely Mint and gorgeous hand cut Rose machine Guilloche dial with multiple textures for the face and subsidiary seconds and mirror track for the hour numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands are likewise Mint—simply a stunning example of sublime craftsmanship all around!
CROWN; Solid gold knurled crown topped with a blue sapphire cabochon. The crown winds smoothly and pulls out to the time-setting position perfectly.
CRYSTAL: Flat sapphire crystal is Mint and free of any chips or scratches.
MOVEMENT: As stated above, this high grade Breguet movement has just been comprehensively overhauled by my watchmaker for years more of faithful service. I am not sure how to open the case for movement pictures as I would normally do and would rather not mess about with this beautiful gold case. That said, the movement is absolutely guaranteed to be authentic Breguet and is probably similar if not identical to this one:

STRAP & BUCKLE: This great Breguet Classique comes on what I believe to be its original deBeer Paris handmade black Crocodile strap in barely-used Excellent condition. The finely crafted 18k gold buckle is Near Mint and signed only “GRG,” which I also believe to be correct for this era of Breguet manufacture, ca. early 1990s. This watch features screwed gold pins to fasten the strap and they show minimal wear to the screw heads or threading, easily Excellent.
