Hello Everyone….. Well I was able to attend a NYC Omega press event on March 13th. Purist Pro already reported on the event January of this year. The topic was creation of a watch that is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 1.5 tesla (15,000 gauss)....  

when we first saw this watch i wasnt sure about the second hand, a bit gimmiky i thought, but now i see it again i like it more. i can see good things coming out of this non ferrous technology if it eventually rolls out throughout the whole omega range mu...

Hi Echi The really cool thing about the way Omega is approaching it . It not a Case within a case solution. The movement is constructed with materials that are not affected by magnetic fields. I still think its stunning. Good Hunting Bill Sohne
