I think they did a stellar job of an update, but whether or not that translates into sales will be one to see. I'd love an original, but at 9 large+ for a good one, a little pricey. This one, if discounted, will be a great watch, but the styling to the un... 

replicate the original's crown system? And the bezel release button is just too gaudy.. What was once plastic on a dive watch, is now blingy on a....not-sure watch.

The watch on top (date at 3) is the original. Much nicer! This new watch is close, but not close enough. To me, none of the changes really show an improvement over the original. Just an opinion. Then again I am not a big big fan on of the Ploprof. It's in... 

Hi Everyone As other commented you need to see this watch in person. Barring that, I think the case is great overall.. but what is truly stunning is that it was a caliber 8500 inside !! All the Brute force of a 1200M case and the precision of the in-house...  

A little rough, from Watchco in Australia (good company- I'd trust them). Interesting to see how it goes.
