The case is by......
.....Edouard Wenger SA (the number 1 inside the key on the case back) and he made many a case for Omega but the dial is refinished and done badly. Such a shame as good gold C shapes are quite hard to come by. The movement has been mauled as well.

Case looks nice
But dial has either been redone or chemically cleaned so as to damage the lettering. I would not buy it unless the price was sufficiently low.

. . . but all else looks ok save the crown, which should have twelve serrations, if memory serves correct. Art

At the end, it was a misunderstand. I'm hunting, with all patience, a SS one. They are quite common here but an untouched one is hard to find. But, for me, the hunt is 80% of the fun. Cheers, Nilo
