Thanks Bill. I got the book for our 23d wedding anniversary. Here's the small error...

Dear Mr. Richon,

I recently recieved Omega A Journey Through Time as an anniversary gift from my wife. I've spent hours pouring through it so far. Thank you for this fantastic reference you have assembled.

I have found a small error. Page 556 (English) item 9393 discription states "screwed crown". This is the DeVille Co-Axial Chronograph and the crown is NOT screwed. I own this watch, and it is one of my favorites in my collection.

You are 100% right! Congratulation! This crown is only a double gasket crown, and not screwed. Sorry for this error.

Hi francois Actually someone else mention that as the value. I am still trying to research it directly ( looks at old Omega technical docs... etc..). I would have thought it would be able to test to a higher degree, need to check with a watchmaker friend ...

Hi Keith I still have not read the entire book. When I first got it I fliped thru the entire book ( took 2 hours !) . It is interesting and I found it worth while getting. What error did you catch ? Best bill
