I' ve allways assumed there was a cal.26.5 in the engineroom (like these two) - interesting to learn the 30mm was used as well !

These Art Deco models were considered quite avant-garde at the time as their lines were quite different to many of the contemporary models with chunky lugs. It is said to be the inspiration for the Omega Art collection that was released in the mid-eightie...
