i wanted to take a moment and give some follow up
And to give some reference points of what I own and where I stand

I own a GO perpetual cal 100 in RG, JLC reverso grand date GMT 8d RDM, BP fifty fathoms, PAM 98  and some other very cool watches including a rolex sub and some other Ball Divers

I always wanted a bulky diver piece that was bulletproof and looked the part. Not to mention that i am very enamoured with early 70's divers

Time keeping...the GO is just plain crazy. The perpetual runs about 5sec too fast a month but the Omega is doing very well out of the box....2sec slow /day.


Fit and finish...excellent. Thoughtful details such the lock down crown and the operation of the bezel.

Mesh bracelet is not exactly what i thought it would be... very comfortable and well sized to the large watch but not trully a mesh but articulated links that look like mesh

A bit difficult to remove links but the micro-adjustment in the clasp is very nice


At the price point, this watch brings to the game the history, excellent construction...modern movement and reliability and ecclectic looks
In my opionion stands to the SD DS and eclipses the  week bracelet construct the comes with that watch...
