Omega

I acquired this Speedmaster Professional with sapphire back a while ago and upgraded it recently with a Omega strap and folding clasp. Of course, the solid back version is closer to the orginal but i found it a pity not to show such a nice movement - henc...  

in fact it is this model with the display back that I would be interested in when I finally (and I will as the force is strong with this one..!!) get one....like you I want to be able to see the movement. Few questions - is the sapphire front a dome shape...

Andy, right, it is the Hesalit crysteal and the Omega logo is in the center of the dial...i like this small detail as well.... best Stefan Omega logo in the center of the plastic crystal...  

I thought the display mack model with the higher finishing on the movement and metal brake came with a saphire front too..!! I would prefere the hesalite front with a display back but didn't think it was possible without buying the regular model and addin... 

the speedy movement is good enough that it deserves to be shown off. the finishing is better on the OEM 863/1863 display back models, but regardless of that, the movement should be seen. i would encourage anyone who has a speedy to get a display back for ...
