Omega

First of all sorry if I'm boring you with such things that you already know. I'm trying to realize an Omega topic based on Speedmaster and Seamaster plexy. There are different kinds of logo on the omega plexy based on which you can determine if it is corr...  

we all like to look at the case, dial, hands, lume etc, but we often or to be correct mostly forget about the plexi as long as it has a nice original parts one on it. i now have 6 watches to look at to make sure they are the correct plexi's thanks again f... 

to have correctly matched plexy crystals at this juncture. Crystals are probably the part most often replaced on a watch, and to somehow have an original 70 year-old crystal would be an astounding find. Very interesting topic, and it now makes me wonder i... 

Thankyou for bringing this very interesting topic to our knowledge Seems like my newly acquired CK2913 and also my Speedie from 1968 are having the correct logo in the hesalite crystal. The CK2913 was also sold as with original crystal... Do you have any ... 

Unfortunately I can not date it exactly (I've seen Speedmaster with cal. 861 dating 1975-1976 with the first kind of logo)

mstanga, just to put the cat amongst the pigeons, i have two speedmasters that are less than five years old, both of which have your "old style" logo on the crystal. regards,simon.

Ciao Simon, thank you for your answer. Would You be so kind to post a photo of these logo? You have to pay attention to the dimension of the omega logo, it must be narrow for the old ones, and wide for the new one. One thing we can say for sure: On speedm...
