Nicholas, you have to be VERY careful with the SM300.
there are a squillion incorrect ones out there, but i'm sure you know that.
i was lucky enough to have a correct and authenticated military issue item which i treasured for a long time, but as you know, the Freak spoke to me(shouted in reality) so a lot of treasured pieces went to new homes. it was a lovely watch to wear, but due to its age, not something i worn very often. too much history to risk damage.
the prices seem to be sky rocketing at the moment so lets hope they settle down soon.

I prefer the SM 300 for its very strong look! Thanks for the informations, I'm hunting badly this SM 300, but I have to admit that this is a watch I don't know very well, so I have to ask around me quite a lot of things to go further in my modest knowledg...
