Looks like it will be something current SMP owners can move into on their watches given the case is the same. I also agree the new line seems like a premium product and I would clearly take one of those over a Sub C, lesser cost on average will just be a bonus.

i'm not sure i like the boxiness of the speedmaster casing, but i do like the bi axial chronograph subdial. the Olympic seamaster is growing on me now i've had a chance to look at it closer. i feel that i should buy one to show loyalty to my home country....
