It is just out of production

 

But when it was still in production it never sold well due to its high cost and was often found heavily discounted. Now you can still find it on the secondary market once in a while.

and also, this watch was made in the early 90s before the boom ime of mechanical watches. The IWC Porsche Design Ocean and the Rolex were the few companions.
