Appreciate your kind words
G99
I appreciate your kind words. Since I have to wear a watch daily, I need one with a date. Possibly, the next one will be without.
Your dream watches are both uncommon and to get the factory-original ones with good patina is perhaps, not that easy.
It is good to learn you are away from the flooded areas in UK. Let's pray and hope, no lives will be lost for those unfortunate ones, affected by the flood. God bless.
Enjoy your festive season nevertheless and carry-on hunting for your dream pieces.

the 166.024 with date is not seen here as often as the non date 165.024, but still a great watch. possibly better even because of the screwdown crown. i have the 2 i want, a 165.014 and 165.024 from 1964 so i am very happy for you. enjoy Graham

ah mr Harrisans, you are well behind on the forum gossip. Horogasm is the man with more willing ankles than watches and i am the man who wear 2 watches at all times unless her majesty the queen is present :) for this xmas break, although my mother resembl...

G99 With all the beauties in your collections, it will not surprise me, if you wear four watches, at one go. Two on the wrists and two on your biceps. Sorry I have forgotten, you have ankles, too. A collector-friend of mine once told me, how he wished he ...
