Here is the last message of Omega about the certificate of authenticity:
Dear Mr Martens,
We thank you for your messages regarding the 2 certificates for your OMEGA watches.
As a result of the worldwide interest in obtaining a “certificate of authenticity” there has been an enormous increase in requests.
We have noticed that the establishment of such a certificate is time consuming and several steps are involved in such a request.
Therefore, OMEGA SA has decided to reorganise the complete procedure related to the request of certificate.
For the above mentioned reasons, we would like to ask you to contact us again in August 2009. At this date, we shall be pleased to give you more information in this respect.
