That's what I thought.I'm a little up set.

What should I do now?Buy a good 552 movement and replace it?Just not sure if the dial would fit cal-552 from 550.

You got a very nice watch here and lots of comments about it from members around the globe.

Hi all, I have a Omega Seamaster De ville, case number 165.020 CB, calibre 552, seri 21.xxx.xxx. Gold cap, solid gold bezel, ss case back. Case back has not "Horse" logo. So, is my watch text? Is the dial original? Some informations said hour marker and h...  

its a very nice dial although i cant tell you if its original or not

it looks very good, but i've never seen numerals like it on any other Omega so perhaps its a custom dial. i'd quite like a pic of the caseback, i know its got an engraving on it which is why the hippocampus is missing, but i'd like to see it nonetheless. ...

Hi Graham, I think there is nothing wrong with the numerals nor are they custom made... They are not so common but I have seen them on Omegas before. kind regards erich
