Testing, testing.......

My first post here so please bear with me.

First of all, thanks to the inimitable Bill Sohne for inviting me here.

I've only been involved in the watch hobby for about 10 years.  I've found that, like anything else, there are those individuals who are altruistic and more than willing to share their considerable knowledge.  These are folks like Bill, Chuck Maddox, and Steve Waddington who are repositories of useful knowledge and great guys all around.

It's a pleasure to be here.

Chris

. . . please post photos and commentary of your (presumably) Omega collection . . . cordially, Art

Well, here's what I have at the moment. It's an eclectic bunch.

Besides my latest acquisition (see post above) I have a lovely 1948 28.10 RA bumper automatic, a 1973 Seamaster 120, a 1957 Seamaster Chronometre cal 501, a couple of vintage Walthams and Gruens, a Stowa Prodiver, an early 1960s Eterna Kontiki, a Speedmas...

Eclectic only across brands, Chris . . .

. . . as I gather they're similar aesthetically ;-) . . . relatively uncomplicated designs with clear, simple dials and a lack of glitz and glitter, if you ask me . . . cordially, Art

Welcome ChrisK! [nt]
