Officine Panerai

It seems that simplicity is the hardest thing to get, nowadays... When you look at the Cali, the Pre V Logo or all the " Bases ", to make it short, their beautiful simplicity strikes you. Nothing else than the essential, and the Purity of a timeless desig...  

This is one of the 2-3 Panerai I have thought of to start with...some day. LOL. Thanks for the inspiration. respo

but I'd like to focus on the Cali too. This watch IMO is all about the dial and hands. A lot of care went into the details of the dial, the volume of the indices and the beautiful faux patina. Would too have preferred a solid caseback. I'll let these two ...  

The weakest point of this watch, indeed. Yep, the Cali is one of the strongest Base with its original dial. What else do you still own from what was a very nice Panerai collection? Best, Nicolas

Extremely good examples of the 6154 and 3646 pieces but of course wouldn't be possible if it weren't for Rolex's 2081 and 2533, the base for Panerai in it's beginnings! Zongaman

for Panerai and it's own design in fact. The dials on both of your vintage models were Panerai's first successful attempt at showing their expertise in illuminescence. Zongaman

let's see B......O Espanol? ;-) 6154 had a chance to have a couple in my hands and WOW! The thinner case, the angles, this IMO is the full Blood Italian Panerai. Cannot live with regrets, though

Without any transit by France... Damn. I thin you guessed well about B......O... Yes, completely agree...The Small Egiziano is so special that you can't do anything else then fall in love with. Certainly my favourite, although a 4 lines 6152...is not bad ...
